Toad in the hole

This recipe is actually from Jamie Oliver. I don’t often use many of his recipes, but this one is simple and tastes great!

10 sausages of your choice
yorkshire pudding
2.5 cups whole milk
6 eggs
230 g (0.5 lb) plain flour
1 tsp salt

I placed each sausage into a mini loaf pan and cooked for 10 minutes in a 200 C (400 F) oven. Meanwhile, whisk the ingredients for the yorkshire pudding together. Remove the sausage pan from the oven and quickly add the yorkshire pudding mix into the mini loaf pans till 3/4 full. Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes. Remove from the mini loaf pans and serve. I served them with a light gravy, steamed carrots and snap peas, and corn. In retrospect, I think a tomato chutney would go better than the gravy.
